as seen on BScene: http://www.bscene.ca/
2nd Annual Girls & Guns Outdoor Show The Brant Rod & Gun Club was full of pink shirts on Saturday, June 24th for their 2nd Annual Girls & Guns event. About 90 people each, signed up to experience archery and shooting throughout the day. Guests got to learn about the sports from experienced volunteers from the Club. Plus there were various vendors and food trucks that set up as well. Congratulations to everyone involved on a #BRANTastic and empowering event! |
Hatchery Season ends with babies being released! |
With the stocking of approximately 5,000 brown trout into Hopewell creek on Saturday we wrap up the hatchery season. While we started with 10,000 eggs, our phone in the hatchery succumbed to the moisture and had an electrical short preventing the autodialer from calling out. By the time it was discovered, only about half could be saved. Those that survived took advantage of the extra space and feed and averaged just over 3" in length. Big thank you to all the volunteers that helped with the day to day, coverage, and with the stocking. This wouldn't succeed without you!
